ST. LAWRENCE EASTERN LAKE ONTARIO PARTNERSHIP FOR REGIONAL INVASIVE SPECIES MANAGEMENT

The Invasive Species Volunteer Surveillance Network (VSN) is a community science initiative to enhance early detection efforts of priority invasive species in the St. Lawrence Eastern Lake Ontario (SLELO) region. Early detection is a term used to describe discovering invasive species populations in the early stages of introduction before population sizes become too large to manage. Click the links below to join the VSN as a Lands or Waters Protector and learn more about the species we’re enhancing early detection efforts for.

This opportunity is for those who enjoy hiking and spending time outside in lands and forests.

Want to learn how to recognize and report terrestrial invasive species? Sign up to take a virtual training!

This opportunity is for those who enjoy boating, kayaking/canoeing, and spending time outside on the water.
