Environmental Awareness Days will be held on September 25th -26th 8am-2pm.
This an annual event held for 6th-grade classes in Jefferson
County hosted by the Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Club.
It is intended to pique the interest of Jefferson County’s youth to explore
the natural environment by exposing them to a variety of environmental topics.
Children have a natural interest in the environment. Environmental Awareness Days is a way
for children to learn more about different aspects of the environment, and to understand
the role that the environment plays in all of our lives.
