When: Monday, October 28th from 1pm-2pm
Presenter: Lisa Twksbury from the University of Rhode Island will be presenting information for the biocontrol of swallow-worts.
The Eastern Lake Ontario Swallow-wort Collaborative (ELOSC) is a platform for sharing the most up-to-date research and best management practices to inform stakeholders about the prevention and management of this highly aggressive invasive species.
The ELOSC will foster greater cooperation, collaboration between different stakeholder groups to improve control and spread prevention-focused solely on swallow-worts. Additionally, this collaborative will help to transfer knowledge between researchers and managers, share advances in science and management, provide technical assistance, and connect the stakeholder community.
