ST. LAWRENCE EASTERN LAKE ONTARIO PARTNERSHIP FOR REGIONAL INVASIVE SPECIES MANAGEMENT

Loading Events

Hosted by the St. Lawrence Eastern Lake Ontario Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (SLELO PRISM), the Eastern Lake Ontario (ELO) Invasive Species Symposium provides an opportunity to connect with field professionals and expand your knowledge of invasive species management.

The symposium will be held on June 12th, 2025 at SUNY Oswego’s Sheldon Ballroom in Oswego, NY. This year’s symposium theme is Adaptive Approaches for Terrestrial and Aquatic Invasive Species Management focusing on Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK), climate change, and restoring biodiversity.

In conjunction with the symposium on June 11th, 2025, we’re offering two engagement workshops at the SUNY Oswego Rice Creek Field Station. One workshop will include an opportunity to learn about and participate in our emerald ash borer biocontrol monitoring project; the second workshop showcases our Water Protectors Program and will provide a hands-on experience to learn about and view live native and aquatic plants.

These events are free, open to the public, and lunch will be included. Registration will open in March. Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to receive an announcement. Partners should sign-up on this form to be added to our partner announcement list.

Please reach out to the E/O coordinator at megan.pistolese@tnc.org with any questions.

Lodging is available for symposium attendees at the Clarion Hotel & Suites Riverfront in Oswego, NY, for a promotional price until May 28th.
