Beaver Creek State Forest is located in the towns of Gouverneur, Depeyster, Macomb in St. Lawrence County and covers three reforestation areas that spans 3,694 acres. This forest can be accessed from the Gilbert, Lead Mine, Little Bow, and Morrison Roads in the town of Gouverneur, the Lead Mine Road in Macomb, and St. Lawrence County Route 10 in DePeyster (NYS DEC, Beaver Creek State Forest). It offers year-round public access and various outdoor activities. This state forest is also within the A2A corridor region, the high biodiversity area connecting the Algonquin Park in Ontario and the Adirondack Park in New York.
